ABOUT DJ LIQUIDN8V

Hi Everyone !

My name is Stephen H. I am a full blooded Cree Native American from Canada. Sadly, I am also part of the 60's Scoop.

The “Sixties Scoop” refers to the large-scale removal or “scooping” of Indigenous children from their homes, communities and families of birth through the 1960s, and their subsequent adoption into predominantly non-Indigenous, middle-class families across the United States and Canada. This experience left many adoptees with a lost sense of cultural identity. The physical and emotional separation from their birth families continues to affect adult adoptees and Indigenous communities to this day.

My story started when I was only 18 months old. I was put into adoption days after been taken away from my family. I was adopted out to a German couple who already had 4 kids of their own at the time. So I spent almost 10 years growing up in Regina Saskatchewan confused as a young boy as I was never taught anything about my heritage or my culture. I was raised as a little German boy and for a long time I thought that I was German. I did have a decent childhood for the most part, being raised 'Old School' went a long way to build who I have become today.

At 10 yrs old, we moved from Saskatchewan to Ontario where life for me began to become less desirable to live in. New school, New people lead to me having some real issues arise. So as a result i decided to leave home at age 10. 2 years later, my adopted parents decided that they couldn't handle me anymore and decided to give me back to Children's Aid as a Crown Ward. WOW eh.... Needless to say, After being taken away from your family to begin with, grow up with a new family for 10 years and then given back to the agency who took me in the first place- The answer is YES.. I had a few psychological problems develop.

I decided to move to Toronto and live on the streets. I lived on streets for about 9 years before I joined a traveling carnival where I spent 2 years running the Gravitron and Tilt-a-whirl rides.  I then met my ex-wife and had 2 wonderful children. Got separated for 10 years and am now engaged to my beautiful girlfriend of 3 years. I am currently disabled due to work injuries but have gained quite a bit of knowledge rebuilding and repairing computers, Web-design, Android app making, And my personal favorite hobby is Making music for all of you to expand your consciousness as well as reconfigure the mind to make better choices and be more aware of everything around you. I practice alot of meditation, Sacred chanting, and being an all around good person as we all start this process of 'Waking-Up'

Thank you for taking the time to read this and stopping by to check me out.  I simply ask of you, if you are unable to support me by purchasing a song, album or making a donation, then I simply encourage to you to just pass my name around to your friends and family.

Thank you for your time and support !
